With well over 3 million views in only 3 days on YouTube, “Living In A Ghost Town” is the newest single out from The Rolling Stones – released on April 23rd. The song has topped the charts becoming the bands first #1 hit song on iTunes. It took less than 24 hours of the song being out for them to hit this mark. I really love this song as the music is so catchy and the lyrics are completely relatable to how we are living right now.
Living In A Ghost Town is actually a song that The Rolling Stones started working on before this virus quarantine even happened. Once the quarantine hit, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards revisited the song and decided to finish it up as they realized how fitting this song is for the current times.
The lyrics start off with “I’m a ghost, living in a ghost town. You can look for me, but I can’t be found. You can search for me, I had to go underground. Life was so beautiful, then we all got locked down. Feel like a ghost, living in a ghost town”.
