What an epic show in New York City last Friday! Jarrod Gorbel performed The Honorary Title’s music solo acoustic to a sold out crowd at Mercury Lounge. The Honorary Title was a band that Jarrod started in 2003 and they were only around for four years, releasing two full length albums.
For people like myself who have a lot of good memories associated with this music and were also really touched by this music, this was a really special evening to be a part of. With The Honorary Title having not been around for more than a decade, to be able to hear these songs played live again was an amazing feeling.
To be in a room full of people singing along to every song, it gave me the chills. For any fans of The Honorary Title – I’ve uploaded all of the videos I took that night. I wish I could have recorded the entire thing, but as it was I killed my phone battery from what I did record. So I did the best I could. I’ve included some of my favorite clips below:
